About Houses & Humans: Neurodivergent Fantasy Meets CBT
Our Origin Story
Houses & Humans started as a coping experiment during a season of burnout and grief.
A neurodivergent nurse and writer (that’d be me, the Chaotic DM) began turning therapy concepts into D&D-style quests:
do the dishes, fight the Laundry Monster, gain +2 executive function.
People laughed. Then they healed a little.
Now we’re a growing creative guild dedicated to turning coping skills into collectible art — part workbook, part grimoire, part survival guide.
We believe in small victories, glitter-covered resilience, and the magic of realizing you’re not broken — just playing on hard mode.
What We Make
-
Fantasy-themed mental health tools disguised as journals, posters, and printables.
-
CBT-inspired humor merch for burnout survivors, ADHD wizards, and anxious adventurers.
-
Neurodivergent art and storytelling that validates chaos and celebrates coping.
Every design is hand-painted, neurospicy-approved, and lovingly packed with caffeine and sarcasm.
